If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not proceed and leave the Ojojas website immediately. Do not proceed with the account opening steps. Please be aware that we reserve the right to terminate your relationship with us if we believe you have violated any of these terms.

Interpretation

For ease of understanding, “You,” “your,” and “Customer” refer to the person who seeks to use Ojojas as a platform and agrees to these terms and conditions. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Ojojas, and following an assignment, any person or company to whom our rights herein are assigned.

About Us

Ojojas Technologies is a platform where you can either request people to perform jobs/services for you or offer your availability for jobs/services to others.

The Objective of Our Relationship with You

The objective of establishing a relationship with Ojojas is to provide you with special services offered by Ojojas for its customers. Ojojas will enable you to create and manage your account for the purpose stated above, as well as provide certain digital services/tasks, including but not limited to social media engagement, available digital jobs/services, and any other service we are legally permitted to provide.

You can operate and manage your account via the Ojojas website. The prerequisite for opening an account is having any device that can access web pages and websites.

When Are These Terms Applicable?

These terms apply when you choose to open an account with Ojojas and Ojojas approves your account after verification. We may modify the terms and conditions of our relationship at any time, and we will inform you of any modifications. Modifications may result from changes in our business practices, service offerings, applicable laws, or for any other lawful reason.

Your continued use of our services after we notify you of such updates or modifications constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. All updates will be detailed on our website. You will be able to access the latest version of our terms at any time. If at any time the terms and conditions are no longer acceptable to you, you should immediately cease all use of the services provided by Ojojas.

What Is the Scope of the Relationship Between Ojojas and the Customer?

Opening an Account

You can access our platform to broadcast both jobs and services in your location by city/state, either as a provider or receiver, subject to fulfilling our onboarding and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks in line with applicable laws. To start, you must be at least 12 years old, a Nigerian citizen, meet our technology requirements, and have not previously opened an account with us.

We do not knowingly engage with individuals who do not meet these conditions. These requirements may be updated or reviewed from time to time in accordance with applicable laws and our internal processes.

By opening an account with us, you agree to us using your information to make and receive payments for subscriptions and credits during the withdrawal of earned funds from tasks completed on your behalf through your Ojojas account. If you wish to stop this, we will need to close your account.

Verifying Your Identity

We are required to apply due diligence measures to prevent fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing before you can open an account with us. This includes identifying and verifying your identity and collecting information about you, your proposed use of the services, and related matters.

At a minimum, you need to provide an active phone number, a profile picture, and a Bank Verification Number (BVN) for withdrawal purposes. Major requirements are as follows:

In line with regulations, we perform due diligence on all accounts. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information and documents you provide to us are up-to-date on your profile at all times.

You agree and authorize Ojojas to verify your information against any third party (including official databases) and to obtain and procure your personal information from relevant sources. You further agree to indemnify and hold Ojojas harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from the disclosure and reliance on such personal information.

We may contact you to update your identification documents or information at any time, and you are required to provide us with correct and up-to-date information to ensure the continued use of your Ojojas account. We may also contact third parties to collect and/or verify the information and documents you provided. We may limit or restrict your usage of your Ojojas account and access to funds until such verification is completed.

If your application to open an account is successful, we will open an account in your name and send you a confirmation through the app or via email. Once we have activated the full functionality of your account, you may log in to access your account via the app or our website.

Access to Account

After successful registration, you will have the privilege to join other community members legally using the platform to broadcast their availability for jobs/services in their immediate environment. You can use the platform either as one in need or one providing services.

Activities on Your Ojojas Account

As a registered user, you can log in daily to check for new tasks available. Tasks completed with points earn users points, which can be converted to cash available for withdrawal periodically based on agreed values for each point.

Fees

We charge fees for certain services, which vary based on the services provided. Our fees are aligned with applicable laws, and we strive to keep fees to a minimum. We are committed to transparency and will disclose all applicable fees before you finalize a transaction.

Account Limits

Certain sections of Ojojas are only available to subscribed users. This will be updated as we proceed.

Prohibited Transactions

In addition to transactions ordinarily prohibited by Nigerian law and activities not expressly permitted under these terms and conditions, you are expressly prohibited from using your account for:

Your login details should not be disclosed to anyone or kept in written form to prevent fraud and misuse. Avoid using obvious passwords.
